"More Precious Than Gold"
The golden eagle is one of the most dominant birds in the sky! A species such as this is definitely more precious than gold itself. I'm so inspired the sheer dominance of this species. They rule the skies and yet they are so majestic and noble at the same time. An animal that truly demands our respect. This artwork was completed using a combination of colored pencils, pastels and graphite. This drawing was completed back in 2007. At the time I was trying to find a way to develop a style that was realistic, yet pushed the boundaries of creativity. This artwork has held a very special place in my heart ever since. If you are a bird lover you will absolutely love this in your home!
Specifics:
These are high quality giclée prints, printed on a canvas paper. The prints have a subtle canvas texture to them and have a matte finish which pairs perfectly with the acrylic glass they are framed under.
The sizes specified are the paper dimensions and the overall dimensions of the entire piece will be between 4-7" larger. For example: The 11x14" matted, framed print will have an outer dimension of 18x21".
Please take note that 30x40" framed prints are printed with an art board backing and framed in 2" frames.
