Fall in the Midwestern United States is a special time for many. As the air cools and the crops begin to dry out, it's time to begin with harvest. In this scene, I imagine the end of a long days work. As the sun sets the landscape is covered with a blanket of cool autumn air, triggering the wildlife to awaken. Waterfowl fill the sky during the last few minutes of daylight. The perfect end to the perfect day.
