"Deep Within"

The forest is a mysteriously beautiful place. Capturing a scene in oil paint like this is something I've wanted to do for a long time, but simply couldn't put the pieces together. More recently I've been spending time in the forests again and it's inspired me to revisit this idea. The result is my newest painting that I'm sharing with you today which I titled "Deep Within".

Open edition (signature on print is from the original painting)

Printed on high-quality archival grade Crystalline matte canvas by Breathing Color. Crisp detail along with unmatched color depth and contrast shines through its semi gloss finish. This is truly the finest canvas on the market.

Arrives rolled with additional 2.5" white border. Can be inserted into a frame or hung with poster hangers.

Deep Within

I love this print. It reminds me so much of the woods I used to play in behind my house in Ohio. All that is missing is the small creek that ran through mine. The colors are dark and brooding, but vibrant. Just like a forest should be. Beautiful.

nature is amazing

Hi, I love this painting, one of my favs. I walk a lot with my sister in the forest and we have so much fun. Every day we see something new along the same path. We've taken several pics because we see different images in the shape of the trees. the variety of birds , leaves, trunks , noises etc. It is truly a wonderment. Please consider doing more. I always wait anxiously for the next one. I love your work and watching your journey. Thank You

No surprise on how good this painting is. No matter how dark the forest can be sometimes! When you find and see the light penetrating the canape and really SEE and hear the sounds around you, it's special. Black has done an outstanding job showing this truth in this painting. Love it.
